I bought this nutcracker less than a year ago and have used it very little. It broke in half a few weeks ago and is now completely useless and will have to be tossed. Look for something sturdier even if you only occasionally plan to crack nuts!

The labor involved in producing nuts fresh from the shell can be streamlined with the use of Pedrini's three-stage nutcracker. As the name indicates, this tool boasts three oval shapes in varying sizes enabling the user to cradle and crack a range of nuts. The smallest of these openings measures half an inch in diameter, followed by a 3/4-inch opening, and finishing with the largest measuring 1-inch in diameter. The nutcracker features sturdy steel construction, a polished chrome finish, and rounded handles for a comfortable hold.
