Chrome finish is nice, rubber pads on the handles are a nice touch.
I was hoping the hinges of the nutcracker to be tighter. The handles of the nutcracker could also be longer to provide more mechanical advantage.
I don't regret the purchase. I recommend this product unless you can find something with slightly longer handles.

With three oval openings of varying sizes, this Pedrini nutcracker cradles and cracks nuts in a range of sizes. The smallest of the trio has a 1/4-inch diameter, followed by two more openings measuring 1/2- and 1-inch across respectively. Thanks to a ridge of narrow grooves, nuts are held firmly in place and won't slip or crack unevenly. Durable steel construction finished with a polished shine gives this tool a sleek, contemporary look. Additionally, the handle features synthetic inserts for a comfortable, slip-free hold.
